Best of all, you won’t be sacrificing your quality of life to save money on these things because our saving strategies focus on better, more cost effective ways of getting the same things you use and consume everyday, without cutting back!  In fact, you’ll often get higher quality products and services because we’ll teach you how to review and plan your purchases carefully to avoid those inferiour products and services that nobody wants but so many of us end up buying.

Unlike many of the popular Canadian deals sites, HowToSaveMoney.ca won’t be cluttered up with daily deals and time wasting forum posts with little actual information in them.  Our focus is on the proven methods and strategies for saving money that you can use everyday over and over again.  We will even link you to the top posts, resources, and forum threads on other sites so you can get the best possible information, without all the work!

Of course, we will post the occasional hot deal or useful product on our SaveLog (blog), but you can count on the main site content being focused and to the point.  It may seem like a lot to read at times, but rest assured learning all of the tactics compiled here would take you a hundred times longer from simply browsing other sites.  Your time is valuable, and we respect that!  That is why one of our slogans here is:

We do the work, so you don’t have to!

So, go ahead!  Look through our growing content by accessing the menus up top and keep checking back to the main page for news, tips, deals, opinions, and other information that doesn’t fit neatly into a regular content page.

Stick around, you won’t be disappointed!

Your information about the Shoppers Optimum rewards program is extremely helpful to me. I previously had no idea that there were so many tips/tricks to using that reward program to my benefit. Many thanks.

I`m not aware of any site that does it really well Ken. I actually thought of starting such a site myself for a while but it would be a lot of work to get started and maintain and is a little out of my league.
