$25 To Spend At Chapters/Indigo Online For Only $10 – Today Only!

I eventually plan to write a detailed post about daily deal group buy sites, but today I came across this fantastic nation-wide one day only deal for chapters.indigo.ca where you can pay $10 and receive a certificate valued at $25 to buy anything you want on their site. That’s an amazing 60% off and is stackable with any other sale or deal they might be having! This can increase your savings up to 80% off or more, especially since there is sure to be many good deals in the coming days and weeks as Christmas quickly approaches and every store competes frantically for your business. Not only that, but if you spend a minimum of $25 at Chapters online then shipping is free, so you don’t have to worry about any additional costs at the checkout!

You can see why I didn’t want to wait until I’ve properly introduced these daily deal sites before posting this deal because it is too HOT to pass up!

A Bit More About Daily Deal Sites

I have currently collected a list of 28 different daily deal sites that service many cities in Canada and Kijiji Daily Deals are the latest to the party. The basic premise with these sites is that they offer a different deal every day in a particular city (Toronto is the most popular city) at an extremely large discount (50-90% off) and as long as enough people commit to buying in on the deal, then the transaction will complete and everyone who bought in will receive a certificate for the product or service via email.

The deals on these sites are typically for local businesses, services, or restaurants and is a great way for them to advertise and get their name out there while saving people a bunch of money and generating a positive buzz about their business. Unfortunately, smaller cities are often excluded from these daily deal sites because there isn’t enough interest or businesses in the area to make it worthwhile for anyone. Fortunately, some deals can be nationwide or online like this Chapters deal and even though it says the deal is for Toronto, it is really available to anyone in Canada. I’m proof of this because I definitely don’t live in Toronto and I purchased one for myself that I will probably use to buy some children’s books for my new daughter.

This Deal Is Legitimate

Kijiji Daily Deals has just launched and it looks like they wanted to get started with a bang by offering this fantastic deal. However, even though they are new to doing daily deals, Kijiji has been around for many years and almost everyone knows them as the free classified website where you can list things for sale in your own city and be connected with interested buyers instantly. Their main Canadian site, Kijiji.ca gets over 500,000 visits every month and I doubt that even counts subdomain visits like toronto.kijiji.ca, which would increase that number substantially. Further to that, Kijiji is actually owned by Ebay so you can be 100% assured that this deal is safe, secure, and legitimate.

How To Get The Deal

All you need to do to get your $25 certificate for $10 is head on over to KijijiDeals.ca, click the Buy Now! or Buy as a gift button, enter your credit card information and email address, and then click Complete My Purchase and you’re done! They will email your certificate sometime in the next 24-48 hours and then you can use it for any purchase on chapters.indigo.ca. At the time of this writing, already 1636 people have purchased this deal and I expect that number to go much, much higher by day’s end!

I took advantage of this deal, did you? Post in the comments!

It looks like this deal has sold out. The early bird gets the worm again, I guess!

They hadn't indicated that there was a maximum quantity available beforehand so that is unfortunate. I think it probably ended up selling better than expected so they arbitrarily cut it off once they felt they had given away too much free money. I personally was expecting it to sell way more than 10,000 units and it would have if they hadn't put a stop to it earlier today.

I was considering getting my wife to get a second certificate for us, but we missed out on that so one will have to do.
